Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accessibility Tester located in North Sydney, NSW, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Accessibility Tester will be responsible for evaluating web and mobile applications to ensure they meet accessibility standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing manual and automated accessibility testing, documenting and reporting issues, collaborating with developers to implement fixes, and verifying the effectiveness of accessibility solutions. The role requires close attention to detail and a commitment to making digital content accessible for all users.

Qualifications

  • Accessibility Testing and Knowledge of Accessibility Standards (e.g., WCAG, ARIA)
  • Test websites, web applications, and mobile apps for compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1, Section 508, ADA).
  • Experience with Manual and Automated Testing Tools
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Accessibility Audits
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills
  • Attention to Detail and Analytical Thinking
  • Ability to Work Independently and in a Team Environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in the telecommunications or IT consulting industry is a plus
