Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain machinery in line with production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct daily checks, calibration, and machine shutdown procedures.
  • Monitor performance and adjust settings to ensure accuracy in cutting, edging, drilling, and finishing.
  • Perform routine cleaning, greasing, and maintenance to optimise machine efficiency and longevity.
  • Record maintenance activities and report any faults or issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively to meet production targets and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.

Experience required:

  • Forklift license (desirable)
  • Experience in machine operator or a related field advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of wood-related materials and machinery.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with WSH regulations.
