About the role

Mabrouk and Sons' is seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team in Slacks Creek, QLD. As a full-time Butcher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and high-quality meat preparation to our loyal customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of meats to customer specifications
  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to guide customers in their selections
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked work area
  • Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborating with the team to optimise workflows and inventory management
  • Assisting with other store operations as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Butcher in a retail or commercial setting
  • Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and food safety practices
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide knowledgeable recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
