About us

Barrett Bros Smash Repairs specialise in automotive smash repairs. We repair vehicles for Insurance and private clients. We are a locally owned family business and have been operating in Fyshwick for over 35 years. We employ 19 staff including trades persons, apprentices and administration. Barrett Bros Smash Repair offers employee discounts from a variety of retailers. We invest in our staff with regular training opportunities.

Qualifications & experience

  • 5 years experience in the industry
  • Trade certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent data entry experience

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
  • Estimate cost of labour and parts to repair or replace each damaged item. Determine repair versus replacement of parts.
  • Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
  • Manage production outputs, and repair processes as required.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely completion of accurate and comprehensive quotes for accident repairs on vehicles in accordance with average repair cost targets and insurer/company procedures.
  • Other duties as required.
