RoadTek North Qld Operations (Townsville) are seeking a high performing and innovative Project Management Support Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.

RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland. In the role of Project Management Support Officer, you will provide high level administrative support to the Operations Manager and Operations team. You will coordinate,

maintain and manage records within the Operations Unit and coordinate and organise the delivery of essential administration services and information to both internal and external clients.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide accurate, timely and confidential support to the business Operations Unit teams, including preparation and distribution of documentation and project document control.

• Ensure the efficient management of all correspondence so that all issues are prioritised and directed to the appropriate officer for action.

• Administer financial processes including procurement, ordering, payments of accounts and monthly monitoring.

• Ordering and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Device management and IT support coordination by overseeing the ordering and setup of devices/mobile phones and coordinating issue repairs.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions

• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.

• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in operational business support including supporting project managers and teams.

• Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise efficiently.

• The ability to anticipate the needs, adapt to changing circumstances, and take initiative to solve problems and support the operations team effectively.
