About the role

Edge Glass and Aluminium Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Aluminium Window Installer/Fitter to join our team. In this full-time, Melbourne based role, you will be responsible for installing and fitting high-quality commercial aluminium windows and glazing systems.

To be a successful candidate for this role it is required that you perform the following duties:

  • Accurately measure, cut, and install commercial aluminium windows and associated fittings
  • Safely and efficiently transport and handle window frames and glazing materials
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, meeting safety and quality requirements
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all installation activities

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial aluminium window installer/fitter
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
