About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor at our Regency Park site. In this role you will ensure all areas utilised by the warehouse are kept clean and clear of obstructions. Ensuring that all Sales Order are picked, packed and dispatched in order to obtain 100% DIFOT along with ensuring all inwards deliveries are unloaded, checked and stored as required, ensuring the accuracy of all paperwork.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Reporting to Logistics & Materials Manager, execute standardised warehouse operations and processes to meet and exceed agreed service levels to PPG Customers
- In collaboration with HSE, promote and maintain safe, tidy and clean working environments and aligned with company policy
- Physical handling of materials (including raw, WIP and finished goods) through network including goods receipt, accurate storage and staging/dispatch
- Receiving finished goods from production and storing or dispatching as required
- Support dynamic and accurate records management of all materials handled including receipting, issuing to production orders and dispatch (consigning) and invoicing.
- Pick, prepare and stage material for production orders as allocated
- Labelling of product and locations maintenance
- Maintenance of storage locations and handling in line with governance standards (including segregation of DG and quarantine product)
- Support Logistics consignment administration and tactical level activities including management of inbound and outbound fleets and tracking status of consignment movements
- Non-stock order management including vetting of service provider invoices
- Support daily stores operational activities (including resolving escalated issues) ensuring ongoing customer requirements are satisfied
To be successful, you will have:
- Experience in Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar (highly regarded)
- Licensed and proficient forklift operator and Reach Truck (essential)
- Demonstrated warehouse operations team leadership in a similar fast paced environment (warehousing or distribution)
- Knowledge Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite particularly Excel
- Certificate II or III in logistics / supply chain (Desirable)
- A proven safety-first approach above all else
