Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical power systems design and specification, with experience in medium to high voltage power distribution systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and specifying electrical power systems for industrial clients, including service entrance, feeder and branch circuits, lighting, emergency power and power distribution equipment. They will also be expected to perform power system analysis and modeling using software such as SKM and ETAP.

Additional responsibilities will include mentoring junior engineers, interacting with clients, managing electrical projects, and participating in new business development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering registration required
  • Minimum 12 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer working for government, municipal, and/or industrial water and wastewater industries
  • Experience in electrical power systems design and specification, including medium and high voltage power distribution systems
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical safety systems
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
