We are in search of individuals who embody compassion, empathy, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to connect with and support our participants, fostering meaningful relationships.
Flexibility is key, as the role may require availability to fill shifts on a 24-hour roster. Adaptability to varying situations and participant needs is essential for success in this role.
Key qualifications and attributes for prospective candidates include:
- Possession of a valid Working with Vulnerable People card or the ability to obtain one.
- Completion of a National Police Check.
- Willingness to travel up to 50km
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
- Previous experience working with Mental Health Disabilities is preferred.
- Experience in managing behaviours of concern is advantageous.
- First Aid Certificate
- Medication Administration Certificate
