About This Role
The ADF is leading an exciting new initiative aimed at reducing the number of young people who vape by engaging with community sporting clubs through our Good Sports program. We're seeking a creative and strategic Digital Content Creator to join our team and help drive the success of this vital project, alongside enhancing our organisation's digital presence.

In this role, your focus will be on producing short-form videos tailored for platforms including Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, to engage diverse audiences and convey key ADF messages. You will play an integral role in ensuring that we stay on top of current and emerging social media trends and platform updates, driving innovation across our content.

Here's a closer look at some of your regular tasks and responsibilities:

• Plan, script, film, and edit high-quality short-form videos, reels, and stories tailored for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Capture compelling visuals that convey ADF key messages, including interviews, explainers, behind-the-scenes content, and campaign assets.
• Create and edit images, infographics, presentations using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Write, edit, and proof high-quality content for articles, social media posts, email campaigns, and resource materials.
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimise content performance and audience growth.
• Work closely with the wider marketing, communications, and program teams to support project and campaign goals while ensuring accurate and effective messaging through collaboration.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a skilled content creator with a strong collaborative approach. A background in health promotion or a social impact environment and knowledge of inclusive content practices would be highly regarded.

Experience and skills that will set you up for success in this role include:

• 3+ years' experience creating content (either in-house or agency)
• Experience creating a range of content, with strong skills in writing, editing, and tailoring content for different audiences and platforms.
• Proven experience creating video content for social media platforms (portfolio/examples required), with strong filming, video editing and production skills using tools (eg Adobe Premiere/InShot/Canva).
• A passion for storytelling and visual craft.
• Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Ability to create content tailored to a range of diverse audiences, all with a creative eye.
