About the role:

Our client is undertaking a major migration divestment program spanning infrastructure, End User Compute, unstructured data, Power BI, Power Platform and business applications. This large-scale transformation is delivered through a blend of vendor-led technical projects and internally managed workstreams, requiring strong internal oversight to ensure delivery success.

We are seeking a Service Transition Manager to own the service readiness plan for all migrated and cloned applications. This role will coordinate with ITSM, operations and business stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover, while establishing support models, knowledge transfer and operational acceptance criteria.

What's a typical day look like?

  • Own and deliver the service readiness plan for migrated applications
  • Coordinate with ITSM, operations and business teams for successful handover
  • Define and implement support models and knowledge transfer activities
  • Ensure applications meet operational acceptance before go-live
  • Provide oversight across vendor and internal delivery teams

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Service Transition Manager (or similar: Service Readiness Lead, Transition Lead, Service Delivery Manager) on large-scale transformation or migration programs
  • Strong experience in Azure migration, infrastructure delivery or technology divestments
  • Experience in divestment, separation or M&A projects
  • ITIL service management frameworks and best practices, with the ability to design support models and operational acceptance criteria
  • Background in financial services and large enterprise environments, with awareness of regulatory and governance
  • Skilled at stakeholder management across ITSM, operations, application support and business teams
  • Adaptable, outcome-focused and comfortable in a hybrid vendor & internal delivery environment
