La Rustica by the lake is seeking a chef to join the team on a full time basis.

Duties of the position include:

  • Preparation and cooking for both a la carte and function dining.

  • Quality control of dishes.

  • Being responsible for stock control of both fresh and dry store items.

  • Training junior staff.

To be considered for this position, the applicant must have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a chef in a commercial kitchen. The applicant must have sufficient training and experience to be able to work independently, run a busy section when, and to rotate throughout the kitchen when required.

The successful applicant needs to be able to work Tuesday to Friday 10am-2pm and 5pm-9pm with the occasional Sunday or public holiday.

Work Eligibility:

Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours. Please do NOT apply if you are outside Australia.
