The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to become a key member of our dynamic kitchen team. Reporting to Head Chef, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality Modern Australian dishes from our menu to consistently high standards.

  • Ensuring exceptional food consistency, taste, and presentation.

  • Contributing to menu planning and development.

  • Accurately estimating food and labour costs.

  • Efficiently ordering and managing food supplies.

  • Effectively coordinating kitchen operations and workflow.

  • Implementing and strictly monitoring workplace health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

  • Participating in the selection, training, and mentoring of kitchen staff and apprentices.

  • Assisting with the management of kitchen finances and budgets.

  • Collaborating professionally and effectively with all kitchen and front-of-house teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven and extensive experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment.

  • Relevant culinary qualifications or significant and demonstrable chef work experience.

  • A minimum of one year of direct work experience in Modern Australian cuisine.

  • Exceptional culinary skills and a genuine passion for creating innovative and delicious food.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

  • A thorough understanding and commitment to food safety and hygiene best practices.

  • Must possess full and unrestricted work rights in Australia.
