Ready to put your electrical skills to work where it matters most? Thiess is hiring CHPP Electrical Operator/Maintainers to keep our Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) at Lake Vermont Mine near Dysart running safely, smoothly, and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a CHPP Electrical Operator/Maintainer, you'll be hands-on with the electrical systems that drive our plant, while also playing a key role in operations. Your day-to-day includes:

• Operating and maintaining all areas of the CHPP
• Responding to electrical breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance
• Ensuring electrical systems meet safety and efficiency standards
• Conducting inspections and contributing to continuous improvement
• Working in challenging environments (heights, confined spaces) safely and effectively

What You'll Bring:

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Low Voltage Rescue certification
• Standard 11 (mandatory)
• Experience in CHPP or similar fixed plant operations
• A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and reliability
