Rydges South Bank is a highly-regarded 4.5 star, award winning hotel boasting 304 rooms and suites, multiple food and beverage outlets, and conferencing facilities. The hotel is located on Grey St in South Bank neighbouring the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Food and Beverage Team Leader to support service across our outlets: Café, Bar & Dining (CBD), Soleil Pool Bar, and Room Service. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional ready to take the next step in their career by guiding a team and ensuring smooth daily operations.

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach, assisting in service while providing support and direction to team members. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role and build your hospitality career. If you're ready to take the next step, we'd love to hear from you

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assisting with the coordination of daily service across the venue
  • Supporting and guiding team members during shifts
  • Leading by example to maintain high service standards
  • Handling guest inquiries and ensuring a positive experience
  • Ensuring work areas are clean, organised, and service-ready
  • Upholding Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) guidelines

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Confident communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and service presentation
  • Professional grooming and presentation
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • A positive, team-focused attitude
