This highly regarded privately owned Commercial Construction Company has an enviable position in the South Australian market. They have a varied portfolio of projects and an excellent reputation with clients. Their team culture and office environment are outstanding and they have a track record of exemplary staff empowerment and retention.

Due to sustained growth, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their expert team.

The successful candidate will understand and communicate the requirements of project drawings and specifications, manage the subcontracted members of the project team, coordinate delivery and storage of materials, and constantly review all aspects of the construction against the plan.

The Role:

  • Manage the effective, efficient and successful execution of delegated construction projects
  • Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with environmental, industrial relations, occupational health safety and quality standards
  • Ability to liaise clearly with clients and consultants
  • Assist Project Manager with site cost management and identifying cost reduction opportunities maintaining daily site manager's diary
  • Provide leadership to the site team
  • Long and short programming

About you:

  • A stable career history within the construction industry
  • Strong construction foreman or Site Management experience with a reputable company would be an advantage
  • The ability to work to and meet deadlines
  • Well organised, strong work ethic, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, high level of integrity
