We are seeking passionate Assistant Restaurant Managers to assist in the running of the Restaurant.

In this role as a Assistant Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for

  • Assisting with overseeing the operation of the Restaurant, Bar, Room Service and Functions

  • Communicate, monitor, evaluate and modify the quality and consistency of service and product delivery to continuously meet and improve service standards, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic and operating plans for the business

  • Driving revenue targets by effectively managing the team

  • Outstanding leadership skills

  • Great motivator and communicator

  • Be able to manage beverage and labour costs

  • Extensive food & wine knowledge

  • High presentation standards

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) ACT Certificate is essential

Food & beverage related qualifications and/or significant experience in restaurant service is beneficial

Knowledge of Australian wines and other beverages

Knowledge of bar operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Outstanding customer service skills

Fantastic attention to detail

Passion for hospitality and customer service

High presentation standards

Good time management

Reliable and honest

Self motivated
