Skilled Multi Operator - Forklift , Loader & Overhead Crane**

About Our Client

Our client has an outstanding reputation as being the largest independent steel reinforcement supplier in Australia , with a strong belief in 'family culture ' specialising in the manufacturing and delivery of reinforcement steel for cities, homes, spaces, and communities around Australia.

Work site located in Northern Suburbs ( Pooraka )

Night shift work 10:00pm – 6:06am

Yard Forklift Operator

Key Duties :

  • Multiskilled operators  - Forklift  Overhead Crane Operations
  • Mobicon Experience highly regarded
  • Combilift Forklift Experienced highly regarded
  • Movement and load work with various product of up to 12 metre lengths , metal coils and heavy items
  • Loading product onto trucks and or flat racks in line with delivery schedules (multi-drop)
  • Assisting with product movement throughout the factory (on and off machinery etc)
  • General warehouse  / Housekeeping duties
  • Radio use
  • Manual Handling when required

About you

  • Machinery Tickets - Forklift & Overhead / Gantry
  • Proven Overhead crane experience
  • Forklift experience -heavy and wide loads , skills in Combilift , high reach and counter balance will be highly regarded
  • Load Restraint experience  - including strap and/or ratchet experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a physically demanding. environment.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety.
