Crane Operators

What we want:

We are wanting crane operators with experience and confidence for working with mobile slew cranes on construction site assisting with the installation of structural steel, precast panels and on general crane hire works.

We are wanting operators with a positive attitude towards applying their abilities and skills delivering a high level of results each day across a variety of construction projects both active and upcoming within the greater metropolitan area of Adelaide.

• Consistent/Secure Hours – Monday to Saturday roster, with reliable overtime offered.

Your Role Includes:

• Maintaining a results driven attitude towards all activities being completed safely.
• Playing a key part in all tasks required for the successful delivery of daily crane activities as required.
• Applying your skills and knowledge both physically and mentally to efficiently complete all facets of crane operations being conducted whilst working on site and whilst travelling to and from sites.
• Having sound knowledge of crane usage and rigging gear applications to ensure safe and efficient operation and outcomes.
• Using your knowledge of crane capabilities and effective communication skills to allow our rigging teams to achieve maximum results from each setup without compromising on safety.
• The responsibility and pride for crane upkeep and cleanliness, along with communicating immediately when there are faults, errors, maintenance or servicing requirements needed to ensure we are delivering clean and well-maintained equipment to each job being performed.
• Needing a high degree of focus, ability to follow directions and precise depth perception to allow for maximum levels of safety and efficiency during crane operation, particularly when on structural steel projects.

What You'll Need:

• Experience operating mobile slew cranes (Liebherr and or Tadano)
• Strong knowledge of rigging gear usage and applications
• C6, C1 or CO
• A Rigging ticket (RB or RI)
• Construction White Card
• LF Forklift and or Gold card licence (Advantageous)
• Must have a current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Must have a HR Licence

Who this role isn't for:

• Interstate or International applicants who don't reside within the greater Adelaide metropolitan area. If this is you, but you plan to relocate to Adelaide? Then by all means contact us and we can discuss further.
• Individuals with no experience working with cranes. If this is you, but you believe you have the appropriate attitude and drive to succeed doing what we do? Then by all means contact us and we can discuss further.
• Operators who prefer or only want to work as a general hire crane operator. Our business is predominantly structural steel installation first and then other general lifting works as needed or requested.
