We're values-led in everything we do:
- We Welcome Everyone by creating inclusive, accessible experiences.
- We Are Connected across all levels of the game and the industry.
- We Are Courageous in how we innovate and lead change.
- We Bring Our Best to every initiative we deliver.
ABOUT THE ROLE – Cheltenham, VIC | Part-time 3 days per week | Fixed Term 12 months
We're looking for a passionate and innovative project lead to join our team and help deliver the Connecting Women in Golf project. Sitting within the Women & Girls Engagement team at Golf Australia, your work will help shape the future of the game by empowering more women to participate, lead, and thrive in golf.
Your impact will include:
- Leading the continued growth and delivery of the Connecting Women in Golf program, working closely with the Steering Committee to bring the vision to life.
- Collaborating across departments to deliver events, initiatives, and working group meetings that connect women across all levels of the game.
- Developing and executing an engagement strategy to increase participation and visibility of women in the golf industry.
- Driving consumer-focused opportunities, ensuring meaningful experiences for women players, fans, and industry participants.
- Supporting promotional planning and storytelling, helping to share the impact of the program and inspire new audiences to get involved.
You'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept through to delivery, ideally within sport, community, or participation programs.
- Proven ability to plan, track, and maintain clear project documentation.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- A genuine passion for connecting with women and creating inclusive, welcoming environments.
- Flexibility to travel regionally and interstate to support events and engagement activities.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
At Australian Golf Services, we know people do their best work when they feel supported – in work and in life. Here are just a few of the ways we bring that to life:
- Flexible Working – With hybrid work and flexible hours, we'll work with you to find the balance that fits.
- Family-Friendly – With generous paid parental leave for all carers, we understand family always comes first.
- Wellbeing Focused – Our partnership with Acacia supports your mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing; plus in some of our offices you can access elite gym facilities.
- Opportunities to Grow – From formal and on-the-job learning, we're all about growing together.
- Extra Perks – Enjoy free onsite parking, access to golf events, and partner discounts – all part of helping you bring your best, every day.
At Australian Golf Services, we're doing things differently.
We're proud to be breaking the mould in how golf is governed through a world-first collaboration between the PGA of Australia, Golf Australia and the WPGA Tour of Australasia. Together, we're committed to real change and growth across the sport.
We know that golf like many sports hasn't always felt like a space where everyone sees themselves. And we understand that women and other underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement.
But at Australian Golf Services, our belief is simple: "All golf is golf, and all of us can be golfers." That mindset extends to our team too. We're building an organisation where diverse voices, perspectives and lived experiences are truly welcomed where people can bring their whole selves to the work we do.
So, if this role excites you and you think you could contribute, even if you don't tick every box, we'd love to hear from you. Let's have a conversation you might be just who we're looking for.
How to Apply:
Please submit your Resume and Cover Letter outlining how your attributes fulfill the key requirements and responsibilities of the role by Close of business Tuesday 18th November.
Please note all employment is subject to a valid Australian working rights Working with Children Check.
