New Town Toyota is growing and we're looking for people to grow with us.

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Service team.

This is a permanent Part-Time role working 8:00am – 12:00pm Saturday morning, with potential to fill in on weekdays during periods of absence.

This role would be well suited to someone with Service Advisor experience looking for part time/weekend work. Light Vehicle Technicians wanting a Full-Time workshop role during the week and Service Advising experience on Saturdays are also encouraged to apply.

Job Description

How you will make an impact:

  • Engaging with customers and building a positive rapport
  • Handling customer matters relating to service bookings and enquiries
  • Checking in vehicles for service and noting any customer concerns/issues
  • Estimating costs associated with jobs and determining completion time
  • Proactive communication with the customer to keep them updated on the status of their vehicle
  • Obtaining approval from the customer if their vehicle requires additional work
Desired Skills and Experience

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar or related role in the automotive industry
  • Current manual drivers license
  • Ability to build rapport with a diverse client base
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Experience with Tune DMS desirable however not essential
