Location: Canberra, ACT Contract Duration: 12 months with 2 x 12-month extension options. **Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role.

Senior Project Officer**

Join a dynamic team delivering high-profile ICT projects. In this role, you'll provide end-to-end project support — from planning and procurement through to delivery — ensuring milestones, budgets, and compliance requirements are met. You'll work with diverse stakeholders, manage contracts and assets, and contribute to the success of critical national capabilities.

Essential Duties

  • Manage procurement, contract administration, and project documentation in line with policy
  • Oversee project financials, reporting, and record keeping for major ICT initiatives
  • Plan and coordinate resources, schedules, risks, and milestones for ICT projects
  • Administer asset management processes including reporting, reviews, and rollouts

Key Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects in a government or complex environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively across multiple project areas
