About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Furniture Delivery Offsider to join our dedicated team in Queanbeyan East, NSW. This is a full-time position that will involve assisting with the delivery and installation of furniture to our customers' homes and businesses.

What you'll be doing

  • Carefully loading and unloading furniture from delivery vehicles
  • Assisting with the safe and efficient delivery of furniture to customer locations
  • Providing exceptional customer service by ensuring a professional and courteous demeanour
  • Working collaboratively with the delivery driver to ensure a smooth and seamless delivery process
  • Reporting any issues or concerns to the management team
  • Maintaining a clean and organised delivery vehicle
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

  • A valid driver's licence and a strong understanding of road safety a heavy vehicle licence a plus. But not required
  • Previous experience in a customer service or manual labour role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture
  • Ability to lift up to 30kg safely
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
