The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager - Legal and Compliance , this role is responsible for delivering strategic legal support, managing compliance frameworks, and overseeing high-risk legal matters. You'll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the operations remain aligned with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on Australian Consumer Law, ACCC, Franchise Code, and other key areas.
  • Lead contract reviews, negotiations, and document management.
  • Support strategic legal projects, investigations, and regulatory reviews.
  • Promote a strong compliance culture across all departments.
  • Represent the Legal function in cross-departmental forums and stakeholder engagements.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • Law degree and admission as a Legal Practitioner in Australia.
  • Current legal practising certificate.
  • 5+ years' legal experience, ideally in-house or corporate.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, governance, and compliance.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in Governance, Business, or Risk Management.
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with multinational corporate environments.
