The Stoned Crow is looking for a new Chef to join our team and assist in the company's growth. Located in the beating heart of Crows nest, Light streams through our windows by day and by night our lights are dimmed radiating a burnt orange hue throughout the venue. Relaxed, unpretentious and easy-going, get ready for something truly special.

Key Focuses

  • Cook food and execute recipes with the highest quality in accordance with The Darlin Group standards
  • Prepare ingredients for service and kitchen set up to exacting standards of TDG
  • Observe kitchen cleanliness and equipment are always maintained in good repair

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality, consistency, presentation, speed of food of all products entering and leaving the kitchen is always followed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen sections to be always kept to a high standard during and after service.
  • Amount of stocks are monitored daily and coordinated to the Sous/ Head Chef for ordering.
  • Stock is received, stored and labeled correctly.
  • TDG systems and policies are followed and implemented.
  • TDG kitchen team culture is practiced through all areas and working with the team in a professional manner.
  • A clear and strong communication between the FOH and BOH is always practiced.
  • Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered according to Australian Food Safety Standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $73,500.00 per year
