The Opportunity

A rare and exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Site Engineer to join our Hunter Civil Team on a permanent basis. This immediate role will initially support the delivery of a key infrastructure project near Muswellbrook, with a long-term pipeline of civil, transport, and mining infrastructure projects across the Hunter Valley.

You will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, gaining hands-on experience and excellent career development opportunities within a well-established and respected organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor key construction metrics to ensure project performance targets are achieved
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications
  • Support and coordinate procurement activities to meet project timelines
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and assist in the identification and assessment of risks and hazards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • A minimum of 6 months' postgraduate or undergraduate experience in civil construction, ideally with exposure to roadworks and earthworks
  • Foundational knowledge or experience in project quality assurance (QA)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A current and valid Class C Driver's Licence
