Your role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic State Stores Manager to oversee our NSW/ACT Trade Store network. This role is pivotal in ensuring our DuluxTrade and Inspirations franchise store network consistently deliver profitable growth, exceptional customer service & strong operational standards across the region. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our store network, ensuring it is structured for maximum accessibility, coverage, and long-term success.
As the NSW/ACT State Store Manager, you will provide performance leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to a large, multi-disciplined team across a complex operating environment. You'll balance financial outcomes with people and culture, drive operational excellence, and maintain a strong safety-first focus. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a large, multi-site store team to deliver strong sales performance, customer service, and operational excellence.
- Execute and manage the Trade Store Network Strategy, driving profitable growth, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with SH&E standards, audits, and risk management processes.
- Partner with key stakeholders across Trade-facing businesses to implement sales strategies and deliver local growth opportunities.
- Oversee store operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards, inventory controls, and national programs.

Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience in multi-site retail or trade store operations, with strong people management and coaching skills.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability, with a focus on driving efficiency and results.
- A collaborative and customer-focused approach, with a commitment to safety, operational excellence, and team culture.
