We are an exciting, newly established company in Australia involved in the water filtration sector - This is an offshoot off our successful UK and Polish operations where we currently employ 80 staff in Europe.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to join our foundational team and help build our operational framework from the ground up. This role offers significant growth potential as the company expands. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a start-up environment and is prepared to grow into a leadership role as we scale.

Operational Management:

  • Manage all inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking orders, packing, and dispatching products efficiently and accurately.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective warehouse operational systems, policies, and procedures to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment using our order management system, Shipstation.
  • Coordinate freight forwarders and local shipping carriers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, safety protocols, and general organisation of the warehouse space to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.

Inventory Control:

  • Maintain precise inventory records through regular cycle counts and full stocktakes.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, coordinating with the General Manager on purchasing needs.
  • Manage returns (reverse logistics) efficiently, processing inspections and restocking or disposal as appropriate.

Systems and Growth:

  • Utilize Shipstation effectively for all shipping and order processing tasks, leveraging its features to streamline operations.
  • Participate in the selection and integration of future warehouse management technologies or software as needed.
  • Assist the General Manager in forecasting logistics needs and developing capacity plans for future growth.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor future warehouse staff as the company scales, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.

Required:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role.
  • Essential experience with Shipstation or similar order management/shipping software (e.g., Shippo, Starshipit).
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive, "hands-on" attitude and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and competency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace).
  • Relevant Australian work rights and potentially a valid forklift license (if applicable to facility needs).

As this is a startup the initial work will involve working on the fulfilment side (packing orders) with additional staff being bought into roles as demand increases over the opening months.

Pay: $62,935.61 – $84,770.68 per year
