PRODUCTION | MACHINE & MIXING LINE OPERATORS

Based in Redland Bay & working within the horticulture industry.

  • Hourly rate from $30-32– rapidly growing company with opportunities to move into different warehousing or production roles.
  • 5 days per week with half days on Friday– Production hrs 7:30am – 6:30pm, Mon – Friday.
  • Shift flexibility– We have roles open for either morning (7:30am – 4pm) or afternoon/evening shift (11am – 8:00pm). Up to 38hrs/week.

About Us:

Proptec is a family-owned wholesale horticultural supply company based in Southeast Queensland. We manufacture and distribute substrates, trays and machinery used for propagation and final growing. Proptec is the Australian partner for Ellepot in Denmark and Logitec in Netherlands for which we distribute machinery for propagation and integrated substrate mixing lines. Our customers range from wholesale nurseries in amenity horticulture and commercial orchards as well as vegetable, cut flower and hydroponic producers. We pride ourselves in being able to offer customers solutions based on years of experience using the products we offer. Proptec is a relatively young business however is back by 3 generations of horticultural experience.

About The Role:

We are looking for highly motivated machine and mixing line operators to join our production team, there is also opportunity to work in a warehousing role which involves part-time truck driving. Machine operators are responsible for operating Ellepot machines, whilst mixing line operators will work with the mixing line team. Both roles require the ability to independently and within a team to achieve operational excellence in productivity, quality and safety. The applicant will help foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning and displays Proptec's core values in all tasks.

To Be Successful in This Role You Need:

  • A track record of prior experience in machine operations within a warehouse.
  • Reliable, punctual and has a strong attention to detail.
  • Current Forklift license or MR is advantageous.
  • Good communication skills and demonstrated success in developing and maintaining good relationships colleague.
  • Physically fit with the ability to work in a fast paced and repetitive manual handling environment.
