Overview:
The Learning and Literacy Clinic is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.
Role details:
- Thursday - Friday (9am - 5pm) and additional hours when required.
- This position is perfect for individuals with a background in healthcare administration or anyone eager to gain experience in the allied health sector.
- The role is available from November.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing appointment bookings and scheduling for clinicians.
- Answering phone calls, emails and solving client queries by providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintaining accurate client files and documentation (i.e. scanning, service agreements, billing information etc).
- Processing invoices post appointments.
- Completion of any resources - cutting, laminating, and designing with support from our clinicians.
- Assisting with general office administrative tasks as required.
About you:
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, as well as independently.
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
Desirable Criteria (Not essential):
- Experience in healthcare, medical administration/reception
- Experience with PMS: Halaxy
- Knowledge of NDIS, Medicare and Neuro-affirming approaches
