About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Casual Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Fior. You'll be part of a creative, high‑energy kitchen delivering exceptional Italian‑inspired cuisine with a modern Australian edge in one of Gymea's most exciting dining destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high‑quality dishes to Fior's exacting standards during service.
  • Manage and run your kitchen section efficiently during lunch and/or dinner shifts.
  • Support mise en place and daily prep to ensure smooth service.
  • Keep your station clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards.
  • Work closely with Head Chef and kitchen brigade to uphold consistency in flavour, plating and execution.
  • Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen team members.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
  • Passion for Italian‑inspired cuisine and quality seasonal produce.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.
  • Flexible availability — including nights, weekends and peak service times.
