  • We have a customer facing casual position available which involves one day a week work plus every second Saturday (3 hours) with the flexibility to cover co-worker's leave at an Optometry practice.
  • Optical experience is preferred but training would be provided for the right person.
  • We are looking for someone service orientated, well spoken and well presented. Would suit a parent looking to get back into the retail workforce, someone wanting to ease into retirement, or a university student.
  • You will be employed under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
  • As a small business the role involves retail, administrative, and housekeeping tasks as you will work alone sometimes. Retail tasks involve choosing frames and lenses with clients- the frame selection component needs you to give styling advice so be prepared to express your opinions (Training will be provided on the technical aspects). Some of the administrative tasks are stock entry, reception duties, ordering lenses. Some familliarity with Microsoft Office and cloud based document storage (One Drive) would be helpful.
