The role
To ensure we continue to provide the best quality products to our customers, we are seeking an experienced Lab Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity.
More specifically your duties will include:
- Collaborating & coordinate testing and documentation.
- Ensuring proper receipt and registration of materials.
- Coordinating external testing and validation.
- Upholding compliance with GMP, GLP, and health and safety standards.
- Testing pharmaceutical samples (Herbal raw materials and Finish products) using HPLC, GC, IR, UV-spectrophotometer and/or Wet chemistry.
- Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments.
- Accurately record laboratory data.
- Ensure general laboratory cleanliness and organisation.
- Adapt to different situations and troubleshoot as needed.
Essential requirements
- Bachelor of Chemistry degree.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of TGA regulations.
- Familiarity with PIC/s Guide to GMP is preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and a positive attitude.
- High attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Willing to collaborate and be a strong team player.
- Good computer skills MS Office.
