The Opportunity:

We're looking for a QA Engineer to join our Product and Engineering team in Melbourne, helping ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products that power communication and workflow systems across hospitals and aged care facilities.

You'll play a vital role in automating and streamlining our testing processes, collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and delivery teams to ensure every release meets the highest standards of excellence. What you will be responsible for:

  • Develop, maintain and execute test plans, cases, and automated scripts.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on software applications.
  • Identify, document and track defects, providing clear reporting to inform release decisions.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Delivery teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on requirements and testability.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in software testing and quality assurance, ideally with exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG or JUnit.
  • A good understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines (advantageous).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
