We're seeking a dynamic and experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental across a diverse and exciting pipeline of major construction projects. As the HSE Manager, you will lead and embed Buildcorp's health and safety culture across our new build projects. You'll provide strategic and operational guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance, fostering continuous improvement, and championing safe behaviours on and off site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE function for New Build projects, ensuring alignment with Buildcorp's HSE policies, systems, and values.
• Identify trends and risks and implement initiatives that drive health and safety performance.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure safe and compliant project environments.
• Manage incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are shared across teams.
• Support emergency planning, business continuity, and environmental management initiatives.
• Develop and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulators.
• Promote a culture of accountability, safety leadership, and wellbeing across all project levels.

About You

You are a proactive, people-focused safety professional with a strong background in the construction or engineering industries. You bring a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to influence and inspire others to uphold high safety standards.

• Demonstrated experience in HSE roles within construction or engineering.
• Sound knowledge of State and Federal WHS legislation, Regulations, and Codes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Excellent reporting, communication, and analytical capabilities.
• Previous proven experience in construction
