About You

  • You've likely built up solid, practical HR experience, meaning you've had considerable exposure to performance management, misconduct, employee conflict and more. You would describe your approach as collaborative – working with stakeholders to navigate challenging situations and find outcomes that work for everyone involved.

About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will add value to the business and our clients by:

  • Advising managers on a range of employment issues e.g., performance management, misconduct, restructures, redundancies, absence and lateness, employee conflict
  • Participating in onsite or virtual meetings with managers and employees in relation to issues that arise, including termination meetings
  • Leading the implementation of the HR administration and compliance solution, which involves: HR audit, developing templates, policies, contracts, procedures and implementing the HR system
  • Leading a small group of clients, working across the full range of HR activities we deliver
  • Researching and preparing communication to clients on HR updates e.g. legislation changes or relevant case findings
  • Conducting ad-hoc investigations into matters relating to bullying, harassment and sexual harassment
  • Mentoring, coaching and training internal HR staff

Selection Criteria

  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, including unfair dismissal and general protections and experience dealing with a range of employee matters, such as: under performance, misconduct, redundancies, investigations.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with managers and business owners to find the best solution for their situation.
