The Role

Genus Infrastructure are currently seeking Cable Layers to join our underground utility division across the Perth Metropolitan on various Western Power works and offering the following:

  • Permanent full-time position with an immediate start
  • Rewarding hourly rates of pay + penalties for overtime
  • 50+ hours per week
  • Perth metropolitan based with occasional regional work
  • Large pipeline of work, currently scheduled into 2027
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Essential Skills/Requirements:

  • HR drivers licence
  • Excavator operator ticket
  • Construction Induction (Blue/White Card)
  • A pro-active view to OH&S
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans & DBYD drawings
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of professionals on-site to achieve project goals
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and client requirements

Desirable Skills:

  • Western Power Network Access Card (NAC)
  • Cable layers qualification
  • First Aid & CPR
