About us: The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.

About you:

In your new role you will:

Deliver high quality evidence based clinical services (including tele-triage, tele-health assessments, generic and profession specific biopsychosocial mental health assessment and intervention for consumers across the lifespan in accordance with professional and ethical standards.

Undertake clinical governance activities, such as the development of clinical practices, procedures and guidelines that support the continuum of care.

Take a leadership role in initiating, planning and evaluating quality activities, evidence based practice, clinical research programs and local service improvement activities as delegated.
