Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Create respectful, trusting and caring relationships with students and families, and the MLC community
  • Provide support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Continuously expand their understanding of curriculum content and how students learn using research and workplace knowledge
  • Liaise with parents of students with additional learning needs and report to parents on a regular basis
  • Contribute to the professional development of the Learning Diversity department and Junior School staff
  • Work effectively with colleagues to review, develop and implement learning and teaching programs based on the Victorian Curriculum Learning Areas and Capabilities
  • Demonstrate effective evaluation, assessment & reporting strategies
  • Establish and maintain connections with parents and caregivers and effectively communicate regarding their child's learning
  • Contribute to professional networks in the school and wider education community

  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Adherence to all College policies and demonstration of behaviours in accordance with the Child Safe Standards.
