Murwillumbah Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our vibrant clubhouse bar team. If you have a passion for hospitality, enjoy delivering excellent customer service, and thrive in a team-focused environment — we'd love to hear from you

About the Role

As Assistant Bar Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operations of our bar and function service areas. Working closely with the Bar Manager, you'll help lead the team, deliver exceptional service to members and guests, and ensure everything runs smoothly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily bar operations alongside the Bar Manager
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to members and visitors
  • Assist in supervising and training bar staff
  • Help manage stock, cash handling, and compliance tasks
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming bar environment
  • Support the delivery of functions and events

What We're Looking For

  • Current RSA & RCG certification (mandatory)
  • Previous experience in bar or hospitality supervision
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude and a team mindset
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and stock control is a bonus
