Sydney Technical High School is an academically selective school for boys with a current enrolment of 905 students. Entry is on merit through the NSW selective schools test prior to Year 7. We pride ourselves on an academically rigorous setting and 100% of our HSC graduates attend university. Selection Criteria- Approval to teach Music 7–12 (including Music 1 and Music 2). Willingness to teach Music Extension.
- Demonstrated ability to plan dynamic and engaging pedagogy and assessment to cater for the diverse needs of high potential and gifted students and drive improvement in student outcomes.
- Strong skills in creating a positive learning environment through organising, directing, and supporting music ensembles, bands, choirs, or other performance groups, encouraging participation and achievement at a range of skill levels. strengthen the school's co-curricular music culture.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
