By delivering services and implementing new systems, processes, and technology, we assist our clients in gaining competitive advantage and reaching new heights.

We are seeking an experienced and switched on Portfolio Analyst with strong finance skills to join our market leading client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Insights: Create reports and live dashboards (using Excel) for leaders, helping track projects faster.
  • Forecasting, Budgeting, and Cost Management: Financial planning and budgeting, analyse forecast-to-actual variances, and oversee cost recovery, invoicing, purchase orders, and accruals.
  • Data Analysis and Automation: Improve existing Excel VBA tools to streamline reporting, enhance data accuracy, and reduce manual effort.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management: Partner with Finance, PMO, and Leadership teams to accelerate business change initiatives.
  • Risk, Compliance and Data Governance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and governance, mitigating risks and driving operational success.
  • Process Improvement and KPI Tracking: Streamline reporting, automate processes, and track KPIs to enhance project performance and support decision-making.
  • *Resource Management: T*rack and enter resource effort to support accurate forecasting, capitalization, and cost recovery.

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong background in project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost recovery.
  • Expertise in financial and team-based reporting, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, ensuring key milestones & timelines are met.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in pivot tables, advanced formulas, and VBA for automation.
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and experience using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy.
  • A positive and collaborative team player, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with various stakeholders.
