As an Emergency and Critical Care nurse at CARE, you will work with a dedicated and knowledgeable team of experienced vets and nurses to care for the broad range of cases we see in our busy Emergency department

We are searching for a qualified Cert IV vet nurse with at least 2+ years' experience, ideally in emergency or a busy GP clinic We want you to be motivated, conscientious and enthusiastic in your role. You will not be discouraged by challenges, rather embrace them and work with the rest of the team to reach a solution, whilst learning along the way. Your continuing education is strongly encouraged through CE support, regular tutorials, and daily rounds.
The role is available Part-time or Full-time, and we are happy to work with successful applicants to help them achieve a reasonable work-life balance. We can offer a combination of day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
Remuneration is generous and includes significant shift loading for all shifts lying outside of weekday daytime hours.
Your day to day will include;
Providing exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured patients from triage through their entire CARE journey
Assisting with anaesthesia/procedures and surgery, performing diagnostic sample collection and processing tests and communicating with pet owners, providing guidance, addressing their questions, and offering support during highly emotional times.
