About the role

Kenlow is seeking experienced Fabricators & Assemblers to manufacture and assemble our broad range of products. We have a number of full-time positions that will see you take a leading role in contributing to a variety of manufacturing and logistics tasks across the business.

Experience in our industries is highly valued, however, candidates with experience in other trades, manufacturing, auto trimming, marine trimming, industrial sewing or other similar or related industries are sought and welcome. This is a full-time role based in Maddington with genuine career progression planned.

What you'll be doing

• Take a leading, hands on role in the manufacturing, assembly and finishing of our products
• Read and interpret plans and drawings to ensure products are executed to specification
• Assist with planning and managing production schedules and workflows to ensure timely delivery of finished products
• Assist with the movement and organisation of materials, including stock control and ordering of materials
• Liaise with staff and customers to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and to specification, including providing technical guidance where required
• Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures, documentation, safety and efficiencies

What we're looking for

• Experience in a trade, factory or manufacturing environment
• Hands on knowledge of production and manufacturing processes, including operation of power tools, measuring tools, hand tools and software systems
• Experience and knowldge of textiles, industrial sewing, high frequency welding, fabric cutting and shaping is advantageous
• Problem-solving mindset with an ongoing pursuit of improvement and efficiencies
• Pride in workmanship, focused on quality and deliverying positive customer experiences
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset to positively contribute to a team environment
• Drivers licence, forklift licence and experience operating material handling equipment
