Role Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven
Investment Analyst
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting investment decisions by conducting financial analysis, market research, and due diligence. You will work closely with senior investment professionals to evaluate investment opportunities, monitor portfolio performance, and assist in the execution of transactions.

As an Investment Analyst, you will conduct in-depth financial modeling, industry research, and valuation analysis to assess potential investment opportunities. You will also contribute to the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Your work will directly impact key investment decisions, and your ability to analyze complex data and make informed recommendations will be crucial to your success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting financial analysis, including building financial models (DCF, LBO, comparables analysis) and performing valuations of investment targets.
  • Conducting market and industry research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Supporting due diligence efforts, including financial, operational, and legal analysis.
  • Assisting in the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring portfolio companies and tracking their financial performance, providing regular updates to investment teams.
  • Assisting in the development of investment strategies and identifying areas for value creation in portfolio companies.
  • Collaborating with other teams, including legal, compliance, and operations, to support investment execution and portfolio management.

Qualifications

  • Education
    : A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is required. An MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Technical Skills
    :
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, LBO, Comparable Company Analysis).
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, accounting, and corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling software, and other analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills
    : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data and market information.
  • Attention to Detail
    : Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Communication Skills
    : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Teamwork
    : Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience
    : Previous experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a related field is preferred, but recent graduates with strong analytical skills and relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.
  • Problem-Solving
    : Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop solutions to enhance investment outcomes.
