Insight Early Learning Dunsborough is currently seeking a permanent part-time Bus Driver to join our dynamic team. The role includes school drop-offs and pick-ups, as well as supporting our busy excursion program, taking children to local parks and various outings around Dunsborough.

The role:

In this role, you will be responsible for driving a 12-seater bus for daily drop-offs and pick-ups. We also offer various excursions, during which you'll be accompanied by a qualified Educator. Your main duties will involve driving and ensuring the bus is well maintained.

What you will bring:

  • Current and valid Driver Licence
  • Previous experience as a Bus Driver and/or Bus support
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check
  • Current and valid First Aid and CPR (must be obtained prior to commencing)
  • Must have the right to live and work in this location
  • Good driving history
  • Ability to read and follow bus routes
  • An adaptable and flexible approach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to positively engage with young children
  • Ability to build good communication and rapport with parents and staff
  • Demonstrated understanding of the health & safety risks & requirements associated with this position
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualification
