Administration Assistant with NDIS experience

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administration Assistant with NDIS experience to join the team at Get Real International in Slacks Creek, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be providing comprehensive administrative support to the busy NDIS division, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations. Some of the role will involve general P.A tasks for the CEO.
What you'll be doing
- Providing a wide range of administrative duties including data entry, calander managment, email monitoring and responding, Online filing, document management and correspondence, invoicing, Service Agreements and Participant administration support.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders and team members to address inquiries and provide outstanding customer service
- Supporting the NDIS team with scheduling, travel arrangements and other organisational tasks
- Assisting with the preparation of reports, Service Agreeements, understanding the NDIS pricing guide and how to invoice and naviagate Agency managed NDIA participants is essential. Including compliance processes.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and implementing process efficiencies
- Maintaining confidentiality and following strict data protection protocols
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role, with an NDIS or disability services environment with a Registered provider, is essential.
- Experience communication and supporting participants with complex needs, and preferably families and young people, confidence in doing this.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner
- High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Sharedrive, social media, and other IT systems including accounting software Xero.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of NDIS policies, invoicing, procedures, compliance and reporting requirements
