Lifestyle and Wellbeing Officer (Full-Time) – The Pioneers Lodge, Griffith NSW

At The Pioneers Lodge, we've proudly cared for older Australians in Griffith for over 47 years. As a not-for-profit aged care home, our purpose is simple — to enrich lives and empower our elders through exceptional care and genuine connection.

We're seeking a creative, caring Lifestyle and Wellbeing Officer to design and deliver programs that promote social engagement, physical activity, and emotional wellbeing for our residents.

About the Role

You'll make a difference by:

  • Planning and facilitating group and individual activities that promote wellbeing, independence and inclusion.
  • Partnering with residents and families to tailor programs that reflect their interests, abilities and life stories.
  • Working closely with the care, clinical and hospitality teams to ensure activities support holistic, person-centred care.
  • Supporting events, outings and celebrations that enhance the Pioneers Lodge community.
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with quality and compliance requirements.

About You

You bring creativity, empathy and initiative, along with:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or working towards).
  • Experience delivering recreational or wellbeing programs in aged care, community, or health settings.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Current Police Check, NDIS Worker Check, and evidence of vaccination.

Pay: $33.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
