Join MD Foods Australia, a key division of the Dabbagh Group, as a Livestock Controller at our meat processing facility in Echuca, VIC. Here's what you'll do:

  • Monitor livestock health, diagnose symptoms, and administer treatments to ensure animal well-being.
  • Oversee stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records for cattle receivals and dispatches.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative systems, Animal Welfare Standards, and Workplace Health & Safety policies.
  • Perform daily livestock handling and tasks, including receiving, feeding, processing, drafting, and dispatching cattle.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with Directors, Managers, and team members at MD Foods Australia.
  • Maintain property facilities in a clean, hygienic, and operational condition.

What you bring:

  • Genuine commitment to upholding high animal welfare standards.
  • Experience in general animal livestock care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and basic administrative competency.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
