WASTE COLLECTION DRIVER

  • $37.95 per hour
  • Casual role, 3 - 5 days a week | Temp role util the end of the year. Potential to extend next year
  • South Windsor depot

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver kurbside waste collection services to domestic and commercial customers
  • Transport collected material for disposal to the Waste Management Facility, or other facilities as directed
  • Comply with requirements and conform with National Heavy Vehicle Laws
  • Ensure daily maintenance of the truck is carried out in a satisfactory manner
  • Maintain truck log book and any other record keeping reasonably required and relevant to the role
  • Report vehicle damage/defects via log book
  • Carry out "on road" repairs/maintenance to the truck as appropriate

You'll need:

  • HR Licence
  • White Card
  • Current Police check
  • Truck driving experience

  • Previous experience in waste collection industry

  • Physically fit to carry out duties of position

  • Ability to work in a safe manner and to following WHS instructions

  • Ability to work flexible hours as necessary
